Despite having an average GPA of a 3.3, no significant connections, and no shiny internships, Matthew was able to land a job at Google right out of college, working his way up quickly. He was soon promoted to lead a $12M portfolio for North America Channel Partnerships at Waze (a Google-owned company). Then he became a project manager at Google's highly competitive incubator team called X, the Moonshot Factory (formerly known as GoogleX).
He then decided to join an ambitious startup (East Goes Global) as COO where he was able to grow the company from 10 to 25 employees, triple revenue to a multi 7-figure year business with 40% profit margins, land global clients like the New York Knicks, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Alpine F1, Luka Doncic, Paris Hilton, Dominic Solanke, and 100+ others while establishing multi-year relationships with the largest organizations in the world (i.e. CAA, WME, UTA, Wasserman, Sony, Universal, Warner, etc
I was discouraged because I wasn’t making progress or knew how to when it came to succeeding during or post-college. I followed the curriculum, had solid grades, and did what everyone told me to do, but I still felt like I was lost. So instead of accepting what I wasn’t prepared for, I taught myself the hard things college doesn’t cover around self-discovery, accountability, networking, proactivity, and overall professional acumen so I could build the life I wanted and create career opportunities for the long run. That’s why I created Nobl... to share how to do the same.
